I just got through Brian Madden article about cost saving with VDI and if you read through the lines versus TS.
Brain says: “I agreed with MOST of the content of the session. However, I think VMware left out two very, very important things. In fact these omissions are so great that they would “break” VMware’s VDI cost savings model…”

My company will have, as any other big companies with thousand of laptops, workstations, go to some sort of virtualization or I would say VDI and under VDI hood I put TS as well.
But as any standardization model, we will have to manage the ones that just don’t fit; VMware VDI is not good for all of us and TS neither. We will have to run a mix of both solutions.
What is the most blocking thing at the moment for going laptop free ?
