Definitely I like Brian Madden TV and today’s videocast I’ve learned about Pano Logic’s zero client which sounds a fantastic product for VDI/HVD.
As I’m looking around for thin client for my VDI project, that kind of videocast is welcome… Anybody has some experience with that product and ready to share his thoughts?

Google fires back at VMware about virtualization for cloud computing

At VMworld Europe 2009, the VMware CEO Paul Maritz addressed the Google approach to cloud computing saying that virtualization is the only viable way.
Specifically he said: they don’t realize that they scale so well only by redesigning their applications and hardware

VMware published a very interesting document regarding hardware assisted virtualization and BT (Binary Translation) also known as software assisted virtualization.
BT is where the hypervisor translates ALL calls to the hardware, there is no pass-through technique in this case. That is used with old processor with no built-in virtualization extensions.
